2010 Absecon 8U - 10U - 12U Invitational Baseball Tournament

Please note Tournamanent date changes. Absecon will hold their 2010 Invitational Tournament from June 18th – 27th. The 10U/12U games will start on Fri 6/18 and finish on Mon 6/21. The 8U pool play tournament will start on Fri 6/25 and finish on Sun 6/27.

Last years winners were Hammonton in the 8U, and Linwood took the 10U and 12U titles. It turned out to be a great warm-up for Districts.

Tournament Information

• Our fields are 46/60 and we will supply paid umpires for each game at every level.
• The fee is $300 for each 8U/10U/12U team entered plus 1 dozen new baseballs appropriate for the respective age group.
• Trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place in each age group.
• Each age group has limited slots. Bracket play will be used for 10U/12U, pool play for 8U, same as last year.
• Please send an email to ASAC to confirm your town’s entry and with the exact number of teams for each age group. Entries are first-come, first-serve and checks should be mailed to ASAC, PO Box 26, Absecon, NJ 08201. Entry fees are non-refundable after 6/14.

• 06-27-10, 07:19pm, Congratulations to the 8U tournament winner, Margate, with a hard fought win over Ocean City.
• 06-22-10, 05:01pm, Congratulations to the 10U Tournament winners, Margate, and the runners-up, Absecon. Congratulations also to the 12U winners, Ventnor who came out of the losers bracket to win a couple of very good games vs. the runner-up, Margate. Both games were great to watch! Good luck to everyone in the Districts.
